Registered runners will receive their race packs in the post about two weeks before the event.

Occasionally, one in 20,000 packs grows some legs and runs in the wrong direction. If you still haven't received your race pack before race day or if you have registered with an old address and can no longer receive mail from there, please collect a race pack from the Help Desk.

Location and opening hours of the Help Desk are as follows:

Address: Virgin Sport, 66 Porchester Road, London W2 6ET

Thursday 12th July, 17:00 - 19:00.
Saturday 14th July, 10:00 - 14:00. 

Address: Help Desk, North Terrace, Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DN 
Event day, Sunday 15th July, 07:30 - 09:30.

You are not required to notify us of the collection as we will have spare race packs available.

There will be a comprehensive race day guide tailored for you, with all you need to know about getting there, prep, important runner information, bios on our pacers, entertainment and more! Stay tuned for updates. 

It's super simple: add a pass to your basket and at checkout, select if you're purchasing for yourself or a mate. 
If you're buying for a mate, add his or her details into the registration form. After you've paid, they'll get an email telling them how lucky they are! Once your mate receives the email, they need to click on the link to claim it.

You can change your address or other details in your Virgin Sport profile at anytime by clicking 'Edit Ticket' on the event you are registered for.

If you registered for the British 10K, a race pack will be mailed to the address in your profile two weeks before the event. Didn't get your pack? No problem, we'll hook you up with a new pack at our event day Help Desk - directions for this will be in your race pack.

Fear not, Sporter. Your online profile stores everything for you. Log into your profile on the Virgin Sport website and then check out your upcoming passes and receipts by clicking into your Account Details and then Purchase History. If you need to edit any details, you can, just click 'Edit Ticket' on the event you are registered for.

No, registration for the British 10k is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-deferrable. However, you are now able to purchase protection for your entry fees from our partner Booking Protect. For a small fee, and provided you satisfy the relevant conditions (see the Booking Protect terms and conditions when registering for more detail), you could be entitled to a full refund from Booking Protect if you need to cancel for reasons such as injury accident or illness.

Yes, we accept elite entries. These are the qualifying 10k times to enter as an elite: Males: sub 32 minutes. Females: sub 35 minutes.

Only you can answer this question. Your health and safety is our number one priority. If you have any existing illnesses or injuries and/or are receiving treatment, you should consult your doctor and follow their advice prior to starting any exercise regimen. During the event, listen to your body. If you have unusual pain or difficulty, you should stop running and see one of our race medics. Don't forget to fill in the emergency contact and medical fields on the back of your bib. This will greatly help our medical staff if you do need any treatment during the event.

YES YES YES! We love our overseas runners, if you enter now we will post your pack to your home within 1 month of the race. Don’t worry if your pack doesn’t arrive in time we can sort you out with a replacement on the day of the race – come visit us at the Help Desk (open on event day) located in the North Terrace of Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DN.

Yes, in your race pack you will receive a clear kit bag. If you would like to use the bag drop, make sure you use this bag for your belongings. Specific details will be in your race day guide which will be emailed to you within two weeks of the race!

Yes, you must be 15 years old. 

The Route

The British 10k will begin at 9:30am sharp on the 15th of July.

Fast, iconic and 10,000 in length.

You have 105 minutes to walk, jog, race, or dance through the course and cross the finish line. 

We advise all runners, for safety reasons (in case we need to make a race announcement). There will be entertainment at every kilometer, so please keep the headphones out, and soak up the atmosphere!

For the safety of yourself and other runners, buggies or anything else that could impact the experience and wellness of others is not allowed.
